Ryan E. Flinn, M.A. (he/him) is a counseling psychology doctoral candidate at New Mexico State University. He received his master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy and has worked as a therapist in community, college, primary care, and private practice settings for five years. Ryan’s scholarly work focuses on mental health help-seeking, the experiences of sexual and gender minority people in healthcare settings, and trauma-sensitive/trauma-informed practice.
